Reputation Points
The forum has a rep points system which allows users to approve or disapprove of a users posts. Your current reputation status is listed at the top of every forum page.
represents positive rep, 
represents negative rep.To give someone rep for a post click on the
icon located underneath their username in a post. You can then type in a short description for your positive or negative points, then click + for positive and - for negative.The amount of rep points you can give out at one time (rep power) increases as your rep points increase.
You can view your rep history in the User Control Panel. You can also view rep history for other users by clicking on their red or green rep squares.
You will automatically receive 50 points for new topics you create, and 10 points for each reply you make in a topic.
ChatRoom
The chatroom is open to all registered users. It is located at the top of the index page, but can also be opened in a separate window by clicking on
Chatroom.To type a message into the chatroom just enter your text in the box to the right of the word message:, then press enter or click on the send button.
A few BBCODE features work in the chatroom, such as bold text and inserting of images.
To insert an image in the chatroom click on the
icon, then type in the location of the image between the img tags. Keep in mind that many people use the chatroom from work, and NWS content should be posted in the NWS sub-forum.A list of users currently in the chatroom is located on the right side of the screen. Users with the
icon are available, users with the 
icon have gone idle.The size of the chatroom window can be changed by dragging the
icon up or down.Known Issues:
IE6 requires you to click on send in order to send a message, enter on the keyboard does not work.
IE6 displays certain characters incorrectly in the chatroom, so you may see some odd looking text.
Chatroom resizing does not work in IE6.
With IE6 on low screen resolutions the user list may get bumped underneath the main chatroom window.
Selling in the For Sale section:
There is a for sale section for member-to-member sales. If you are a business looking to sell on this site then you can contact Roy.
You must have a minimum of 10 posts. You must then join the Sellers group to post in the For Sale section. Click Here to visit the groups page. Select Sellers, Click Submit in the lower right corner, Then Click Yes to join the group. You will be added to the group once your request is approved by an Admin.
